Quilt Making I: Freeform Piecing

In this one day workshop we will explore a selection of freeform and improvisational piecing techniques that include straight and curved seams. Playing with shape, colour and texture you will be encouraged to give your creativity free reign! You will leave with a pieced patchwork top for a cushion cover, wall hanging or small quilt, which you could add to at home if you want to make a larger quilt.

All materials will be supplied but you are welcome to bring your own fabrics or some old clothing as a starting point.

Open to all levels but ideally you will have used a sewing machine before.
