Quilt Making II: Hand Quilting and Finishing

In this one day workshop we will cover basting, quilting and binding techniques for a wholecloth mini quilt, wallhanging or cushion cover. You will learn how to baste your quilt, transfer the quilting design and hand or machine quilt. You will learn to make and sew on the binding and how to hand finish on the reverse. You may need to finish the binding at home.

If you have taken Quilt Making I you can use your pieced top instead of a whole cloth.

All materials supplied however if you would like to make a whole cloth piece larger than 50 x 50cm, you will need to supply the fabric for the front and back.

Open to all levels but ideally you will have used a sewing machine before.
