Log Cabin Patchwork Paintings

Small free-form pieced patchwork paintings exploring the traditional log cabin quilt block in luminous colour combinations. Made from a mix of vintage and repurposed cottons and linens, carefully scoured, mordanted and then hand dyed with plants.   Stretched on a  wooden frame with cotton wadding for softness and a canvas backing for stability.
 
Available individually or as a set of four. Can be hung on the wall as is or framed.  
 
Measure approx 21 cm / 8 inches square.
 
Spot clean with cool water and air dry.  Hang plant dyed textiles out of direct sunlight.
Pieces may have areas of discolouration or uneven colour - all part of the beauty of hand dyed textiles.
