Kantha Style Pencil Pouch
Soft and tactile zippered pouches for pens/pencils, sewing tools or a small sewing project on the go. Made from oatmeal linen densely hand quilted in a rainbow of plant dyed cotton sashiko thread. Lined with a soft canvas and finished with a sturdy metal teeth zip and a wood and leather beaded zip pull.

Plant Dyed Fabric Care
Some plant dyed fabrics can be less colour and light fast than their chemical counterparts, even with a rigorous scouring and mordanting process. Any transience in these gently luminous colours is part of their beauty and any gradual fading will not detract from the integrity of the textile.
You can prolong the intensity of your plant dyed pieces by keeping them out of direct light. Should they need washing, hand wash with a neutral detergent in cool water and air dry.
